Pulmonary Circulation
An Official Journal of the Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute
Pulmonary Circulation is sponsored by the Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute (PVRI). The publication contains original research articles, review articles, case report, and guidelines that are related to the pulmonary circulation, pulmonary vascular disease and lung injury.
PVRI is a non-profit organization that specializes in sharing research, education and clinical care between countries all over the world. The latter is aimed specifically at countries with healthcare disparities. Currently more than 250,000 patients with pulmonary hypertension are currently being treated in the Western world, while there are more than 35 million affected patients in poor countries with little or no therapy available. Pulmonary Circulation allows diverse knowledge of research, techniques and case studies to reach a wide readership of specialists in order to increase treatment and survival rates the world over. Journal is published Quarterly.
